Gustavo Ribeiro developed and led the implementation of the Strategic Urban Governance programme between 2012 and 2014. The Strategic Urban Governance course was developed under the leadership of Gustavo Ribeiro in his position of head of the programme Cities at the Danish Architecture Centre from June 2010 to January 2014. The programme was devised in order to further qualify top executives in Danish municipalities to work strategically with urban projects and planning initiatives. The programme takes its point of departure on central challenges Danish cities are faced with in order to promote sustainable development – socially, environmentally and economically.
